The system is a combiation of a heat pipe inside the evacuated glass tube. The selective coating on the inner tube converts solar energy into heat energy and transfers to the heat pipe by an aluminum fin.

WFM collector is the most efficient solution for areas with all-year round warm temperature, as it is almost twice cheaper than similar equipment while producing same output. This could be accomplished due to eliminating of equipment used to protect collectors in cold areas from freezing and cracking

There are two types of WFM collectors that are being produced currently and the choice will be made based on the project demand, system size, free space on roof and its slope. In most cases the smaller project would be offered with 25-tubes type collector where tubes are aligned vertically, and for bigger ones — with 50-tubes type collector, tubes aligned horizontally.
